During the busy harvest season, we often think about how nice it is to relax and enjoy a bottle of Vin Gris. It was made by ‘bleeding off’ a small amount of juice from our red grapes before fermentation. We like to think of it as the blood of our grapes, the sweat of our brow, and tears of joy.

Winemaker's Notes

Originally planned to bring structure and depth to the usual blend, this Cabernet lot did not harmonize with the Zin and Pinot Juice. The varietal flavors come through, but in a uniquely refreshing package. Serve this one up blind to your favorite wine nut. I plan to make a bit of this in the future regardless of its suitability for our main blend.
