We are beginning to do limited tastings (see below) and some events. Curb-side pick up is available for any orders, we will be happy to bring your purchase directly to your car. Stay well and get vaccinated.
A unique wine tasting experience at The Barlow in Sebastopol open 7 days a week. While we’re not set up to host regular tastings, Region Wine Bar is the perfect place to keep in touch with a few of our wines. You’ll be able to find Scherrer and 24 other local wineries represented with self service Wine Station tasting experience. Twice a year in February and August, we will be there every day as the Featured winery with several different flights available to taste.
Open House
When normal times return, we will return to having Open Houses in April, August and mid-November. Dates and times are included on the Winery Events page. You can also sign up for the mailing list to learn about the Open Houses and the new releases we’ll be featuring. We would love to have you join us.
Tasting Appointments
We do not have a tasting room (or staff) and are only able to make tasting appointments as the wine making schedule allows, please contact us in advance to schedule. While we will host groups that are already in close contact, we are refraining from combining different groups as we have in the past. If everyone is not vaccinated, tastings will be held outside under our covered entry.
We are not able to schedule any appointments during the busy harvest season of September through mid- November. Please don’t drop in unannounced — Fred needs some time to make the wine!
