Kick Ranch is located in Rincon Vally which is on the cooler end of the spectrum for this variety in Sonoma County. It has been typically among the last grapes brought in each vintage. In 2017, it was harvested about a week before the Tubbs fire that devastated much of Santa Rosa after ripping through this site minutes earlier during the night. There is great depth to these wines without being heavy or heady.
